Pork Shoulder Picnic

A pork shoulder picnic, often called a "picnic roast," is a cut if pork taken from the lower part of the front shoulder. The picnic shoulder is a little leaner than a Boston Butt and is good for slow roasting, smoking, pulled pork, and carnitas.
